Amsterdam Just Around The Corner
In a few weeks, we’ll be setting off on one of our Amsterdam holidays. We plan to be there for a good few days and have plenty of things to see along the way. The real problem we’re stuck with is where to start our adventure?
Should we start our tour off with canals and break into the Amsterdam way of life slowly? Or should we hit as many of hot spots as we can? The choices are endless and to be honest, the holiday just isn’t (Unfortunately). I figured this guide of things to do in Amsterdam would be a bit of help. But to be honest i aren’t so sure some of those things would even interest me, especially not for a long period of time. Things like the Holland Festival, Just isn’t my cup of tea unfortunately.
Luckily, things like chillin and relaxing at Vondelpark is right up our street. So as long as there’s somewhere to eat and pick the necessary Dutch supplies, looks like we might be chillin there. (Weather permitting of course )
Other things on the list which seem like fun are Dam Square. There’s always entertainment to be found there. Whether its a carnival or just watching some performing artists. Dam Square has entertainment all year round and all around. Another place which we missed last time but would love to visit this time is the Albert Cuypmarkt. This market is like a treasure chest just waiting to be found. The market sells everything from second hand clothing. To brand new items and all kinds of Dutch souvenirs.
To be honest i don’t care what we do when we’re there. As long as it’s fun, interesting and passes the time with the minimum of hassle. Me and the Girlfriend will be just fine.
